Body found floating in sea near Male'

Police have confirmed that a dead body has been found floating in the sea near Usfasgan'du Area in Male'.

Police said that they received reports of the incident at 17:06 hrs today.

Police said that investigations so far have confirmed that the body is that of a Maldivian man.

The body was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

No further details have been shared as of yet.
