Plea bargain signed with a person who verbally threatened former MP Shareef

The prosecution has entered a plea bargain with a person involved in threatening former MP of Maradhoo Constituency Ibrahim Shareef (Mavota) during the run-off to presidential elections last year.

The prosecution has entered a plea bargain with a person involved in threatening former MP of Maradhoo Constituency Ibrahim Shareef (Mavota) during the run-off to presidential elections last year.

This plea bargain was signed with Ibrahim Yunais from Uraha, Laamu atoll Gan, who was arrested in connection to the threat against the former parliamentarian inside Manhattan Business Hotel while he was engaged in polling work for the runoff elections ongoing at the time.
