A person has been arrested for exposing himself in the mosque in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
The arrested man is a 30 year old Maldivian.
He was presented at the Criminal Court for his remand hearing yesterday, and was placed in remand in custody for a period of 15 days.
As per the information submitted to the Court by Police, he exposed himself to a group of women in the IGMH mosque. Police submitted sufficient evidence against him to press charges.
The man opted to stay silent in court.
The man has an existing record of similar offences. Police said in court that the man had similarly exposed himself in a school in Male' last June.
