Vacancies have been announced for the port facility to be developed in Haa Alif atoll Uligan located up north of Maldives, as part of the bunkering services to be commenced at Ihavandhippolhu.
Currently, there are seven jobs advertised for the port by Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), including an assistant administrative associate, a labourer and four security assistants.
Following the decision to provide international bunkering and maritime services from Ihavandhippolhu, MPL has been working on implementing the plans. Apart from this, the company also plan to develop a yacht marina, which is now open for bids.
Simultaneously, MPL is developing office spaces required for these services as well. Some vessels required to provide these services have also now been brought into the country.
