President Muizzu pledges MVR 200 million to raise salaries of educated individuals

President pledged to solve the issues faced by job seeking educated individuals and urged those abroad to return to serve the country.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, urging Maldivian students to return and serve the country after completing their studies, revealed that the government plans to create high paying jobs for educated people starting next year.

Speaking at the ceremony to handover President’s and High Achiever’s scholarships to those who scored well in last year’s A Level, President Dr. Muizzu said that there are a lot of Maldivians who work abroad because of low paying jobs locally, and that the government has policies to change this.
