MET forecasts mostly fine weather for Eid holidays apart from few showers

Over the next five days, including Eid, southwest/westerly winds are expected to range between 8 to 18 miles per hour. Seas are expected to be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 3 to 15 feet.

Maldives Meteorological Services (MET) has forecasted generally fine weather across the Maldives during the Eid holiday, with the exception of a few showers.

MET reported that over the next five days, including Eid, southwest/westerly winds are expected to range between 8 to 18 miles per hour.

Seas are expected to be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 3 to 15 feet.

Many people have made travel plans via sea and air for the Eid holidays.

Eid falls on Sunday, June 16.
