According to MET, winds will be at 15 - 25 miles per hour with gusts reaching 45- 55 miles per hour during showers. They also forecasted that seas are expected to be very rough with the possibility of swell waves during high tides.

Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) has forecasted squally showers with strong winds and very rough seas across the country for the next three days.
The Maldives is experiencing its Southwestern Monsoon, or rainy season which began in early May and normally will extend to November.
