Mohamed Rasheed appointed as Deputy Secretary General of Parliament

Mohamed Rasheed has been appointed as Deputy of the Secretary General of the Parliament.

Rasheed, who previously served as the Assistant Secretary General of Parliament, was appointed as Deputy last week.

Rasheed also serves as the Principal of Ahmadhiyya International School.

An amendment brought to the Parliament Regulations earlier this year allows for the appointment of two deputies to the Secretary General to assist in administrative areas, and to assist in legal affairs.
