The Presidential Commission on Disappearances and Deaths have since released a statement in response to the call from Civil Society Organizations asking them to publicly disclose the findings of their investigations into the 25 to 27 cases they have investigated over the years.
DDCom singled out the families of murdered blogger Yameen Rasheed and forcibly disappeared journalist Ahmed Rilwan and began their statement with, " [DDCom] is aware that the families of Ahmed Rilwan Abdullah and Yameen Rasheed are keen to access the official reports the Commission has completed into the cases".
