Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has travelled to Gambia on Thursday to participate in the 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as a Special Envoy of the President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

The summit is due to commence in the coming week.

Last week, Dr Shaheem was in Saudi Arabia, attending the Muslim World League's Supreme Council meeting, as well as the Islamic Development Bank (IDB)'s annual meeting.
