A change to the academic calendar; year end holidays in Ramadan

The academic calendar for the new academic year which begins on May 26 has been made to conclude on March next year, with the extended second term holidays falling into the month of Ramadan.

According to the first draft of the academic calendar released by the Ministry of Education, the new academic year will end and the holidays will begin on February 23 next year, lasting through until March 6. The draft detailed the first day of school as March 5 and the beginning of the 2025 academic year as March 6.
