Local telecom giant Dhiraagu launched their new logo and colour late Wednesday.
The new logo of the largest telecommunications firm in the Maldives illustrates a simple lowercase “d” forming the palm of a hand. Dhiraagu also changed its longstanding official colour from red to orange.
Dhiraagu launched its makeover at a ceremony held at the National Art Gallery in capital Male, which was attended by Dhiraagu’s CEO Ismail Rasheed, senior management and other staff. However, Mihaaru has not been able to receive a comment from Dhiraagu regarding the change.
The company has also commenced a major marketing campaign with the hashtage #whatsnextmv to mark the transformation. The campaign invites people to upload photographs with the hashtag to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Dhiraagu will choose winners from a lucky draw among the participants to give away the latest iPhone, iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy S8.
Dhiraagu has also changed its logo and colour on its official website after the ceremony.
