Ismail Adhuham, President of the Care Society board, has revealed ongoing initiatives to establish a centralized hub that consolidates all services offered by the Care Society. This move aims to streamline the society's diverse services, currently dispersed across various locations due to space constraints.

Addressing the 25th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, Adhuham highlighted the inauguration of Care Society services in Hulhumalé Phase 2 as the initial step toward expanding services beyond Malé.

The organization is actively working to extend its reach nationwide, Adhuham stated. Efforts are also underway to construct a centralized facility where all the organization's services can be conveniently accessed under one roof.

Adhuham emphasized that the current scenario involves services being provided in separate buildings, necessitating parents to dedicate their entire day shuttling their children between locations.

"The Care Society is striving to establish a system where parents can drop off their children in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. This integrated approach would grant children access to therapy, education, vocational programs, and day care services—all under a single roof, making it significantly more convenient for parents," he explained.

The Care Society observes its anniversary annually on November 9. Last week, the organization commemorated its anniversary by presenting tokens of appreciation to individuals who contributed significantly in various capacities throughout the preceding year.

To mark its 25th year, the Care Society plans to host programs and conduct a special session to share its "25-year-long journey" with the public.
