City Council proposes building park in empty area in Maafannu Cemetery

Male' Mayor Adam Azim has held discussions with the people living in the neighbourhood regarding their opinions on building a small park or recreation spot in the empty area located on the corner of Maafannu Cemetery.

The area, which used to be party of the cemetery's burial ground, has earlier been cleared and paved over, leaving it empty for multi purpose use for those in the neighbourhood.
