Ahmed Shaheer has been appointed as Chairman of Fenaka Corporation Limited.
Shaheer has previously filled the position of STO Managing Director during former President Abdulla Yameen's administration, from 2015 to 2018.
Shaheer has worked 29 years in STO, serving as Procurement Manager before he was appointed as Managing Director.
The current Managing Director of Fenaka is Muaz Mohamed Rasheed, who was previously the parliament member for Madaveli constituency.
Fenaka provides electricity services to 153 islands of the Maldives. They also provide sewerage services in 56 island, and water services to 43 islands.
