Last year, central Male’ saw the marriages of 2425 couples, while 1281 divorces were recorded.

The statistics provided by the family court reports that the month with the highest marriage numbers was December, with a count of 306 marriages. The statistics also displayed that the largest number of divorces were seen in October with 139 divorces recorded.
