Nasheed defends Haidar, suggests suing Aslam

Central Mahchangolhi MP and former Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed has highly praised Housing Minister Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed in today's parliament sitting, while at the same time suggesting that legal action be taken against the past administration's Housing Minister Mohamed Aslam.

Responding to Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) MPs' statements criticizing Haidar for this administration's decision to review the list of flat applicants, Nasheed claimed that he has utmost trust in Haidar. He added that the parliament has no room to refuse approval for cabinet ministers.
