Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has issued a warning to the Transitional Justice Office, condemning their obstruction of the commission's investigations into cases submitted against the office.

The cases being investigated by the ACC include an allegation that the office has been altering the findings of investigations that have previously been completed.

ACC condemned the Transitional Justice Office's refusal to cooperate with the investigation, further noting the disciplinary action the office had taken against a few members of the staff that had decided to cooperate.

In their statement, ACC warned that due action will be taken against persons or institutions which deliberately obstruct their investigations into matters of corruption.

The Transitional Justice Office released a statement saying that it would not be in operation due to the investigation. ACC, however, responded that they had not taken any actions within the investigation which would in any way inhibit the work of the office.
