Judge Shakeel allowed to retire for health reasons: JSC

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) said on Thursday that they offered High Court’s Judge Ahmed Shakeel the opportunity to retire in consideration of his current health condition.

In March, Shakeel was appointed as a High Court Judge during his tenure as the Chief Justice of the Criminal Court. However, later when he applied to retire as a judge, the JSC decided yesterday to allow him to do so.
