Pre-hire permits necessary except for critical positions: CSC

Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Monday, October 9, said that new hires for public sector jobs during the transitional process should not be made without prior permission, except for critical or necessary hirings.

The exemptions listed by CSC via its letter to all relevant bodies include, doctors, nurses, teachers, and religious preachers (Imams). Other hirings require permission from CSC with written reason for the hiring.
