Madaveli campaign venue set ablaze

The campaign venue where Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) candidate and current President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was scheduled to address the locals of Gaafu Dhaalu atoll Madaveli was set on fire on Monday evening, August 7.

The fire caused significant damage to the chairs and other items that had been arranged at the venue situated at the northern end of the island.
