Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after appointing its former CEO Vikram Sinha as the company’s Managing Director.

Ooredoo’s new CEO is Najib Khan, previously the head of the Business Service Team of Ooredoo Group’s Commercial Division. Formerly the CEO of Bharti Airtel’s Home and Office Business, Najib Khan is a telecom veteran with 25 years of experience in the field.

Remarking on the development, the chairman of Ooredoo Maldives Board, Khalid Al Mahmoud, expressed hope that Ooredoo Maldives’ new CEO will keep the company moving forward. He also praised Vikram Sinha’s tenure as CEO as imperative to the company’s current success.

The former CEO and current Managing Director Sinha stated that the opportunity he received to advance brand Ooredoo was a privilege and declared that the new CEO will elevate Ooredoo Maldives to new heights.
