Eid congregations to be held in four places in Greater Malé Area

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that larger congregational Eid prayers will be held in four locations in Malé City this year.

According to the list shared by the Ministry, Eid prayers will be held in Maafannu Stadium, Hulhumalé Synthetic Track, Hulhumalé 2 Cricket Stadium and Villimalé Football Stadium.

The Islamic Ministry said a total of 25 mosques in Malé City will also hold Eid prayers this year.

Eid prayers have been held in larger congregations around Malé City during the last few years.

According to the calendar Eid-al-Adha will fall on Wednesday June 28.
