President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has decided to appoint Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi as his official spokesperson in the upcoming Maldivian Democratic Party’s (MDP) presidential primary.
Solih’s campaign manager and Kinbidhoo MP Mohamed Nashiz tweeted on Wednesday that Mariya would answer any queries about the incumbent president's campaign.
