Nekton's marine research in Maldives, ambitious midnight zone trip

UK marine research foundation 'Nekton' will be collaborating with Maldives government for a large-scale marine expedition.

The research's main focus is to assess impact to Maldivian oceans, underwater biodiversity and other natural aspects owing to climate change. A joint press release by President's Office and Nekton affirmed findings from the marine expedition will be shared with scientists and policy makers affiliated in environment sector.
