Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened registration new slots for the public to view the Vinares housing flats.
This announcement was made in order to facilitate viewing for the public over growing demands. A total of over 11,000 individuals had registered their names during the initial announcement for apartment viewing.
An official speaking on behalf of HDC confirms that the public reception to the invitation to view the flats has been positive. He also confirmed that viewing slots have been fully booked until August 2022.
The new time slots has been set up to allow more people to register.
HDC previously facilitated 500 individuals everyday. With the increase in time slots, more people will be able to view the flats daily. Flat viewing is between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm everyday. According to the information released, most of the slots have been filled until June.
HDC is expected to announce application window to purchase flats this month.
Vinares housing flats were developed during the administration of former President Abdulla Yameen. The 10 housing towers are 13 stories high with a total of 1,344 apartments.
State kicked off the Vinares housing initiative to provide solution for housing issues faced by citizens registered in Male' City, while 100 of these housing units have been apportioned to locals residing in the capital city for more than 15 years.
The going price for one of these apartments is between MVR 2.52 million and MVR 2.59 million in total.
