Man arrested for attempted violence after entering Jamaluddin School on Tuesday.
Police said the arrested man was a 37 year old Maldivian.
The case was reported to the police around 8:45 Tuesday morning. The man had entered the school and attempted to attack the principal. No further details regarding this case has been released yet.
The principal had declined to talk to the media when Mihaaru news had contacted them regarding the attack.
Criminal Court has ordered for the man to be detained for 15 days.
