Police seized 17kg of drugs smuggled to Maldives via air on Sunday evening.
Police halted a pick-up carrying the drugs on Sosun Magu around 8:30pm, after receiving intelligence from Customs Maldives about the smuggled drugs.
Four men between the ages 27 and 37 have been arrested in this case. They are two Maldivian men and two Bangladeshi men.
Photos show the drugs were packaged in brown boxes.
As Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) is investigating this case, police did not disclose further details regarding this case.
