Aground bulk career Navio Amaryllis damages reef

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Maldives said on Monday that aground bulk carrier Navio Amaryllis has already damaged Rasfaree reef.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Maldives said on Monday that aground bulk carrier Navio Amaryllis has already damaged Rasfaree reef.

The bulk carrier registered to Panama is 189.99 meter (623.23 feet) long with carrying capacity of 58,735 tons. The ship ran aground in Rasfaree reef on Thursday due to engine failure while it was en route to South Africa from India.
