The agreement was signed during a special ceremony held at HDC's Exhibition Centre by PSM Managing Director Ali Khalid and HDC Managing Director Suhail Ahmed.
According to HDC, the open access network can be used by telecommunication companies to directly connect to households, eliminating the need for private networking, and subsequent damage to infrastructure.
HDC's network is projected to aid in the provision of essential services including health and education.
