The Maldives National University (MNU), on Monday, announced that its Faculty of Engineering, Science, and Technology was designated as a CISCO Instructor Training Institute.
According to MNU, the designation enables the university to train teachers qualified to conduct CISCO certified courses.
MNU further noted that designation as a CISCO Instructor Training Institute would attract more foreign students.
From September onwards, all students that graduate from the faculty will receive certification from both MNU and CISCO.
The CISCO Networking Academy Program is a global internet technology and cybersecurity education program that partners with learning institutions around the world to provide students with IT skills required for employment in the global economy.
