Singaporean company Rouf expands business to Maldives

After two years in Singapore, Rouf, established in 2018 with a focus on making 'city-living' better by providing end to end solutions, expanded its venture into Maldives on July 18, 2020.

With their mission to "empower businesses with tailored and personalised co-living and co-working mentoring" and "build smart and sustainable business models in the new normal", Rouf envisions creating a "cost-efficient and community-centric" business and providing "affordable and simple" experiences for customers throughout the community.

The company noted that phase one of Rouf Maldives will deliver solutions to the hospitality and real estate community in various areas including co-living, co-working, shared design mentoring, innovative technology, team building and management, financial planning, property research and development, as well as adaptable remote-working concepts and long-term stay incentives for resorts and hotels.

"We are also launching a creative lab (established in Singapore), that will provide Work From Home (WHF) designs to adapt to the new normal of remote working. This lab will focus on developing conceptualised spaces that create a sense of belonging", Rouf Maldives stated.

Noting that the company assists the hospitality industry in integrating remote working and co-working spaces, Rouf added that it will also provide solutions to the real estate industry to meet the demands of the new normal.

"The implementation of co-living and co-working solutions effectively provide an end-to-end experience, enabling people to live, work and socialise at the same time".

The company stated that Rouf Maldives will be led by a local team of young and enthusiastic professionals "dedicated in providing innovative solutions to the next generation of real estate and hospitality industry".

Rouf was established by founders from Singapore, Germany and Maldives, with extensive experience in the co-living and co-working industry. The company also collaborates with multidisciplinary teams who specialing in innovative work models on a global scale.
