Police arrested an employee of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) on Monday for threatening MPL’s CEP Mohamed Junaid.
Police spokesperson stated that the Criminal Court has granted a remand of seven days for the anonymous MPL employee, but did not provide further details except that the investigation is currently underway.
Mihaaru understands that the detained is an assistant manager at MPL around the age of 60.
