Maldives Police Service on Sunday, revealed that a 38-year-old Bangladeshi expatriate worker was found deceased at a guesthouse located in the Henveiru ward of capital city Male'.
According to Police, the death was reported at approximately 0910 hrs on Sunday.
Reportedly, the foreign national arrived in Male' from Kolhufushi, Meemu Atoll, and on Saturday, sought medical treatment at ADK Hospital for abdominal pains.
He was scheduled to visit the doctor for a second consultation on Sunday.
As authorities are presently investigating the matter, no further details were shared at this time.
