Maldives Police Service on Saturday, opened an investigation into a case of arson that damaged a football ground in Rathafandhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.
According to Police, reports of the fire were received at roughly 1935 hrs, and was controlled by a community-led effort at approximately 2245 hrs
The fire did not cause any damage to property nor was any individual injured.
Although no arrests have been made, Police are investigating the mater.
