Maldives Police Service reported an attack on three foreign men in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale' on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the perpetrators were two helmet-clad individuals on a motorcycle, who assaulted the victims, two Chinese nationals and an Australian, with a knife near the Hulhumale Redbull Park Futsal Ground.
None of the victims, who are currently being treated at Hulhumale' Hospital, suffered serious injuries, per the police.
They further revealed that one of the Chinese men was a tourist, while the other two were expatriates working in Maldives.
The police stated that they were investigating the case further and did not disclose additional information.
