Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, on Thursday, announced that the domestic airport in Funadhoo, Shaviyani Atoll would be inaugurated on February 1.

Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, on Thursday, announced that the domestic airport in Funadhoo, Shaviyani Atoll would be inaugurated on February 1.
The airport, developed by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company, (MTCC) was initially scheduled to open in August 2019.
