Local telecommunications giant Dhiraagu on Monday, opened applications for its apprenticeship programme.
Applicants will be interviewed at the head office and regional offices in other atolls, after which 30 individuals aged 18-30 will be chosen. Walk-in interviews are scheduled for January 7, 2020 between 1400 and 1500 hrs.
Apprentices will be given the chance to rotate through different departments of the company including marketing, sales, finance, procurement, human resources, information systems and engineering networks.
Dhiraagu initiated the apprenticeship programme in 2009 and has since trained over 200 youths, many of whom are currently employed at Dhiraagu and other prominent local companies.
