The man arrested for allegedly issuing death threats to High Court's Chief Judge Shujau Usman was released on Sunday.

According to the police, the Huraa Magistrate Court in Kaafu Atoll released the 50-year-old individual on the condition that he would offer full cooperation during the investigation into the matter.

Reportedly, Judge Shujau was threatened in Maafushi, Kaafu Atoll on Saturday.

As per local media Mihaaru, the man's lawyer Shaheem Waheed denied that the accused issued death threats against the High Court judge.
