Criminal Court on Wednesday, sentenced Moosa Nahzan, owner of the website 'preorder.mv', for 4 years and 18 months of house arrest over charges of theft by deception.
According to the Criminal Court's sentence, the man confessed to accumulating over MVR 500,000 from 75 customers who placed preorders on various electronics through the website in 2017.
