WAMCO investigates animal abuse by staff

Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO), on Wednesday, revealed that they were investigating a case of animal abuse by certain members of their staff.

WAMCO management revealed to The Edition that the case was reported to the police, and added that they would released a statement based on the findings.

The case was launched after a video went viral on social media which depicts WAMCO staff holding a plastic bag with a cat in it.

According to the post, the cat clawed and tore the bag to get out of it.

The video was recorded near the Greater Male' Bus Terminal
