Judicial Service Commission on Tuesday decided to issue injunctions against the Chief Justice and two other Justices of the Supreme Court.

Following an investigation into Chief Justice Dr Ahmed Abdulla Didi and Justices Abdulla Areef and Adam Mohamed, members of the commission decided on issuing the injunction as a disciplinary action. The investigations were carried out by an investigative sub committee consisting of JSC members.

Furthermore, JSC revealed their decision to issue a warning as mandated by the investigative committee, regarding Kondey Magistrate Court's Senior Magistrate Mohamed Ibrahim.
