The government, on Thursday, revealed the list of 17 organizations identified as being terrorist movements and/or affiliates, under the 'Terrorism Prevention Act'.

The listing was finalised by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih per recommendations made by the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
Individuals found to be affiliated to these organizations face up to 15 years imprisonment.
