The International Space Station (ISS) will fly over Maldives, on Sunday evening.
As per space enthusiast Ignazio Magnani, Maldivians will be able to observe ISS in orbit over the archipelago at approximately 1850 hrs and will remain visible to the naked eye for roughly five minutes, provided the weather is clear.
Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) predicts partly cloudy weather during the day.
ISS flies at a whopping 27,600 kilometres per hour, orbiting Earth in 90 minutes. Widely known as the most expensive object ever built, the manned space station was initially launched on November 20, 1998 and cost USD 160 billion to complete.
