Hussain Rasheed appointed Foreign Min Additional Secretary

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Sheikh Hussain Rasheed as the Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to local media Mihaaru, the former president of religiously conservative Adhaalath Party was appointed to the position last week.

Hussain Rasheed also filled the post of State Minister of Islamic Affairs during former President Mohamed Nasheed's administration.

Upon Hussain Rasheed's appointment, the Foreign Ministry now has three additional secretaries including Amin Javed Faisal and Ahmed Shiaan.
