President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih commenced his trip to Noonu Atoll on Thursday.
He arrived in Miladhoo Island early Sunday, where he was warmly welcomed by the residents.
The president unveiled a monument commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Hidaya School in Miladhoo, where he will give an address at a special event later.
President Solih is also scheduled to meet with council members and senior institutional representatives from Miladhoo island during the trip. In addition, the president will hold discussions with Magoodhoo Island Council.
According to the President's Office, the second leg of the President's trip to Noonu Atoll is to Kudafaree Island, where he will meet the island council and senior institutional officials.
President Solih will also join the celebrations planned for the Golden Jubilee of Kudafaree School.
The president earlier visited Thaa Atoll on an official trip in late August.
