President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Tuesday, appointed Ahmed Iman Moosa as a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance.

Formerly having served as the Managing Director at SKULL Fishing, Moosa has also held leading positions at telecom giant Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc (Dhiraagu) and Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).

Moreover, he holds a Master's degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland, Australia.

Following this new appointment, the total number of Deputy Ministers currently stands at 38 appointees.
