President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday appointed Mohamed Shakeel to the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC).
During a ceremony held at the Presidents Office, Shakeel took the oath of membership of ACC. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
After the oath, the letter of appointment was handed over to Shakeel by the President.
Shakeel has previously filled several notable positions such as Internal Auditor at Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc ( Dhiraagu), and also as an Officer in Charge at the Financial Intelligence Unit of Maldives Monitory Authority (MMA).
He attained his Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Science at the Asia Pacific Insitute for Information Technology, in Srilanka.
