Pakistan embassy donates equipment to Iskandhar School

The Pakistani Embassy in Maldives on Wednesday donated equipment worth MVR 1.3 million to Iskandhar School in the capital city of Male'.

The Pakistani Embassy in Maldives on Wednesday donated equipment worth MVR 1.3 million to Iskandhar School in the capital city of Male'.

A ceremony was held at the school to inaugurate an LED Video Wall, Computer System, LED TVs, Sound System and funding for the renovation of the School Auditorium.

Pakistani Ambassador Waseem Akram made the symbolic handover to Iskandhar School's Principal Hussain Saeed.

During his address, the Ambassador revealed intentions to provide further assistance to the school and expressed the importance of educating future leaders.

Speaking at the ceremony, Villa College's Rector Dr Ahmed Anwar stated that Iskandhar School, which was established 58 years prior, had made significant advancements in the educational field.

The rector expressed hopes that the equipment donated by Pakistan could be utilized by the school's teachers and students efficiently.
