President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed depart on an official visit to Seychelles on Thursday.
The President was accompanied by a delegation of senior Maldivian government officials.
The visit is in response to the invitation extended to President Solih by the President of Seychelles Danny Faure.
Both presidents are scheduled to meet and discuss ways to take bilateral relations forward.
